PICKBOY baton used for children's conducting experience | Szolnok City Symphony Orchestra, Hungary

We are pleased to announce that PICKBOY conductor's batons were used in an educational program conducted by the Szolnok Symphony Orchestra in Hungary. This program is a truly invaluable initiative that invites children to concert rehearsals and gives them the opportunity to experience conducting in front of a professional orchestra.

On the day of the event, the children themselves picked up a conductor's baton and chose the one that suited them best.
Mr. Toshifumi Kanai, the principal conductor of the orchestra who provided the instruction, explained that there are differences in the length, material, and weight balance of conductor's batons."Just as musicians choose their instruments, conductors also place great importance on choosing their baton."He then spoke about the profound depth of the tool itself.

The children's faces were intensely serious as they stood on the conductor's podium for the first time. It was very impressive to see them enjoying with their whole bodies the joy of moving the orchestra's sound with the instrument they had chosen themselves.

The orchestra members also expressed their gratitude for seeing the children's radiant faces as they got to touch the actual instruments used by conductors. We are deeply honored that PICKBOY's baton was able to play a part in such a wonderful activity that conveys the charm of music to the next generation.

About the Szolnok Symphony Orchestra, Hungary

This initiative was made possible with the cooperation of conductor Toshifumi Kanai, who is based in Hungary.
Professor Kanai serves as the principal conductor of the Szolnok City Symphony Orchestra, and in addition to his performance activities, he is also dedicated to the development of local culture through educational programs.
