It's really light and easily to make heavy attacks in conducting.
I love it! This baton is also used by many great conductors (Manfred Honeck, Fabio Luisi, and Tan Dun).
I love these batons! Very light and easy to conduct.
Conductors active on the front lines around the world are holding PICKBOY batons.
With delicate nuances, reliable operability, and as a tool that connects music and the heart——.
Please take a look at the reasons why they are chosen.

Principal Conductor of the Pilsen Philharmonic Orchestra
My first encounter was as a child when I saw a baton made by PICKBOY that my teacher used in the local music school orchestra. The first one I chose for myself was during my student days when I picked it up at the Yamaha Ginza store. I was impressed by the ease of use of the carbon series.
The balance is excellent. It remains stable without exerting force, making it easy to express. It's lightweight, so it doesn't put a strain on the wrist. I used the FTK150 from 2019 to 2025, but I have now returned to the NCS 34cm. I'm getting used to the difference in grip shape.
When using the FTK, I brought two because I was afraid it would break during a performance due to being wooden (it actually broke once). Since switching to NCS, I no longer have that worry and can use it with peace of mind.

Professional Conductor / Music Director of the Wake Forest University Symphony Orchestra (USA)
I encountered the PICKBOY baton while studying at Shenandoah Conservatory (USA), and since then, my choices in professional settings have remained unchanged.
I currently love using the FT-150A model (fiberglass shaft / natural cork grip, 380mm). The astonishing lightness and flexibility of this baton allow for both precise movements and expressive nuances. It possesses both clarity in fine gestures and the freedom to create flowing lines.
When conducting Stravinsky's 'The Soldier's Tale', the precision and flexibility of this baton were required, and the FT-150A perfectly supported that balance. Additionally, during the 'Let’s Play' game music concert with the Munich Radio Orchestra, it greatly helped in drawing out cinematic expressions, rhythmic accuracy, and emotional depth.

The Pickboy baton is truly a masterpiece of craftsmanship. It is refined, well-balanced, and possesses excellent responsiveness. It has become an indispensable part of every ensemble I conduct.
Whether in rehearsal or performance, it provides the precision and flexibility necessary to shape musical expression clearly and delicately. The Pickboy baton feels like an extension of my artistry.
In the educational field, the Pickboy baton is a reliable tool. It helps students engage deeply with music and learn the sense of unity and discipline as an ensemble.
