▶ Reasons for choosing PICKBOY's baton

When I was in junior high school and decided I wanted to be a conductor, my father bought me a beautiful PICKBOY baton from a small music store near our house. The baton is a little long for my build, so I rarely use it at concerts, but it's a precious memory, so I always carry it around in its case. And I use it when the time comes!

▶ Model used and impressions/feelings

I particularly like the CARBON GRAPHITE series baton. There is little shaking or afterimage of the baton, and it allows me to express my feelings in a subtle way.

▶ Favorite Model

When conducting a symphony orchestra, I use either the NC-D 350mm or the NCS-B 360mm depending on the orchestra's composition. Their greatest appeal is that they are light, become one with my arm, and allow for a wide range of expression.

I also use a round cork baton when I'm performing operas, operettas, and other performances with singers. My favorite is the custom-made NCS-F 350mm. Holding the round cork with my fingertips allows for smooth conducting movements, allowing the singers to "play" freely.

▶ Impressive episode

This happened at an overseas conducting competition. In the finals, I used the FT-150D 380mm, a gift from my father. I asked the stage manager for no music stand so that I could conduct from memory, but for some reason the "conductor's podium" was also removed, leaving me in shock on stage. However, because my baton was longer than usual, the orchestra members said with smiles, "I felt like I was shorter, but the long baton made it easier to play."

▶ Encounter with PICKBOY

I first encountered a PICKBOY baton when I was a child. The chief conductor of my local symphony orchestra (Guanajuato, Mexico) used a PICKBOY and gave me a few as a gift. Since then, I've loved the design and ease of use.

▶ Usage model

In operas and large symphonic repertoire NC-H and NCS-B (carbon fiber) If the formation is light, use NCS-K (360mm) I prefer to use .

▶ Usability and Features

Its appeal lies in its good balance, comfortable grip, various lengths, and lightweight materials.

▶ Impressive episode

I conducted my European debut in 2014 with just a PICKBOY baton. I've tried out a variety of models and lengths, and always carry multiple options with me to choose the one that's best for the occasion.

▶ Encounter with PICKBOY

As conductors, we often don't realize how much fatigue our arm joints experience. I have suffered from nerve pain in my elbow for many years, and in search of a solution, I have tried batons from various countries, including the United States, Brazil, and Germany. The defining moment came in Vienna, when a Taiwanese conductor introduced me to PICKBOY'sFT-150HThe experience transformed the way I conduct. This year, I bought the only one available in Paris and declared with confidence: "A new chapter has begun."

▶ Usage model

Currently usingFT-150HIt is the lightest baton I have ever held, and its design inspires me to explore even lighter models that offer greater freedom of gesture and precision in conducting.

▶ Usability and Features

The PICKBOY's lightness and maneuverability significantly reduce arm strain, making it an indispensable instrument on stage. Its sense of balance and control frees you from physical strain, allowing you to fully concentrate on the music and your communication with the orchestra.

▶ Impressive episode

I was able to finally find a brand that had been recommended for a long time but was difficult to obtain, and to confirm its quality. And, PICKBOY has always been an indispensable presence in my expression on stage and in artistic projects all over the world.
