The MM120KH series is handcrafted and finished one by one by skilled artisans in East Tokyo, a city renowned for its manufacturing.
The accumulation of over 50 years of handcrafted work has created the distinctive contours and shading characteristic of musical instruments.

The secret to the details is the "inking finish"

The key to achieving realistic detail is the panel lining finish.
By applying a type of ink called "sumi" to the surface and wiping it off one by one with a cloth, shadows are left in the uneven areas.
The ink remains in the gaps, clearly showing the light and shadow of the mold, which adds depth to the instrument motif.
Because each piece is handcrafted, there will be slight variations in how the ink remains, but this is part of the unique character of handmade items.
